Lisa Dance

As a native of Richmond, C3 was an intriguing idea. A group interested in fostering creativity, innovation, and economic vitality in the Richmond region, she needed to know more. Starting as a volunteer on the Special Events Committee in 2006 and later as a Board Member, she’s proud that C3 brings substantive discussions about creativity forward as well as highlighting creativity and innovation in our community.
Lisa has organized C3 events including "Innovations in Green Building Materials", a C3 Breakfast Club at ECO Supply Center and a creativity workshop based on the “The Artist’s Way’’, a creativity guidebook by Julia Cameron.
While her current job in HR Benefits is not a typically creative job, Lisa still uses her creative problem solving skills. Whether it’s simplifying customer communications, redesign work processes, or managing customer touch points, she’s always looking for ways to improve the customer experience. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Political Science and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University, and current work towards a MBA.
Lisa is also a member of The Friends of the County of Henrico Public Library where she works on fundraising activities for her local library branch.
