Volunteer Opportunities

C3 is always looking for creative ways to engage members of the Richmond community in our volunteer efforts. We would love your time, treasure, and talent in supporting C3 as the region’s creative resource and catalyst.

C3 volunteers wear a number of different hats:

To find an opportunity that speaks to you, read about some of our C3 volunteers.

Breakfast Club: Dana Ailsworth

Dana Ailsworth is in the business of connecting people and ideas.  As Senior Account Director for Aquent, a creative staffing firm, Dana brings a wealth of relationships and connections to C3.  Dana coordinated a Breakfast Club with Diana Rodriguez, Director of Brand at MWV (formerly known as MeadWestVaco), headquartered in Richmond, Virginia.  Diana architected the brand transformation at MWV, and is responsible for global brand strategy and architecture, and advertising, marketing communications, and event marketing.

YRichmond: Katie Coleman

Katie Coleman is a life-long Richmond enthusiast.  President of a start-up company by day, Katie enjoys serving on the YRichmond Steering Committee as a way to give back to Richmond.  Inspired by the assignment to discover a creative way to market Richmond as a good place for young professionals, she organized a group of friends and co-workers to create the River City Rap which had over 100,000 hits on YouTube within the first week of release.  As a member of the YRichmond Steering Committee, Katie also serves as an ambassador of the program to corporations around Richmond by encouraging companies to participate in the YRichmond program.

Katie is just one of many great volunteers who support the YRichmond program.  For a complete list, visit www.yrichmond.com

Graphic Arts: Chris Hollomon

Chirs Hollomon started his business, Shockwest, in the halls of C3.  A long-time supporter, Chris has given his time and skills to C3 by creating the graphic design work for YRichmond, C3’s signature program.  Chris is also a resident technical guru for C3, helping with the C3 and YRichmond Web sites.
