C3 Insights to Innovation (I2I) Certification Program
An exciting addition to the C3 Breakfast Club Series in 2015, the C3 Insights to Innovation (I2I) Certification program offers hands-on learning of the CrossThink® methodology to develop your creative thinking skills. Developed and taught by Ken Kahn, Professor and Senior Associate Dean of VCU School of Business and Matt Woolman, Director of Entrepreneurship at VCUarts, CrossThink® is a continuous circuit of tools and activities to condition right, left, and centered brain thinking.
C3: ED – Left Brain Advice for Right Brain Professionals
A free monthly educational series designed to address legal and business issues faced by professionals in the creative fields. The monthly topics include copyright, intellectual property, contracts, accounting, grant writing, marketing, and website issues, to name a few. C3: ED is presented in collaboration with The Virginia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division - Lawyers for Arts Committee.
The mission of the RVA Creativity Awards program is to highlight and celebrate the vibrant creative community of the Greater Richmond, Virginia (“RVA”) region. RVA is a hub for creative companies and individuals, and these awards were created to shine light on that fact. Our goal is to promote the creative individuals that live, work, and play in our own backyard. The awards will also help promote visibility, economic development and global competitiveness of the vibrant creative community we have here in RVA.
Talk20 is an evening event with a series of presentations of 20 slides each. A hybrid of educators and professionals working in the creative field – such as art, architecture or design – have 20 seconds per slide to express his or her artistic voice. Typically, there are eight presenters per event. The event has the broader goal of encouraging an exchange between those in the creative industry and a wider audience. Talk20 events take place twice a year and attract at a diverse and engaged audience.
